Style of writing blog

Before one ventures into blogging, they need to be aware of basics of writing including the various styles involved in writing the content for blogs. There are over ten styles of writing, and the style that one chooses to use usually depends on the goal they want to attain. Considering a case, in which a blogger wants to create posts that appeal to visual readers, the valid style in this case is the pictorial writing. With this form of writing, a blogger uses images, and demonstrate to the reader the process involved in a completing a certain task such as cooking.

Closely related to the pictorial style is the instructional writing with the difference being, the latter does not emphasize the use of pictures. Instead, it places emphasis on instructing the reader to get to understand the breadth of a particular subject or topic. If a blog content creator decides to use this style, they would have to give the reader a step-by-step procedure of accomplishing a certain task. This style is popular among bloggers who are experts in specific fields such as technology or hospitality. Writing style of this nature can be seen in blogs that demonstrate to people how to fix a problem such as malfunction of the phone.

Most bloggers see blogging as an opportunity to share experiences of personal encounters, and in their bid to create educational blog posts, blog writers may infuse into their posts elements of their personal experience into the storytelling process. The goal is to shock their audience or have them talk about the topic. When using this style of writing, one may cite how a certain event affected them or their emotions, and build on this to write about the topic they feel is pertinent to that particular experience. This kind of writing method is popular with those who write about the relationship matters.

However, some writers may want to indulge in creating content that fully touch on aspects of their lives such as experiencing the death of a loved one. This is where narrative writing comes in. This style is characterized by the infusion of humor into the real story to make it interesting for the reader to continue reading. A good story sales and when creating narrative blog posts, the writer should ensure that it is as captivating and interesting as possible because this is what will make the reader to visit one’s blog more often.
